During the months of September, October and November, DIATOMIC, a project of which IPN is a partner, starts on the road, passing through Portugal on a RoadShow, passing through some of the best incubators and business centers in the country. UPTEC will be the first destination, on September 20 at 4pm, in which the first session of Network DIATOMIC will be held, with the support of MDevNet Network and Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS.

 

DIATOMIC is a Network of Digital Innovation Hubs that provides access to financing opportunities, state-of-the-art technology and state-of-the-art business support in order to bring intelligent microelectronics solutions to life. A total of 3 million euros will be allocated for microelectronics projects, which will be distributed by the Health, Agrifood or Industry  4.0 sectors.

- The technological support provided by DIATOMIC;
- Benefits of the DIATOMIC ecosystem;
- How to access opportunities for financing and support to value-added businesses, and services through DIATOMIC “Open Calls”;
- Network session, thus increasing your visibility.

The UPTEC session is supported by Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS and the MDevNet Project. The MDevNet Project (National Network for Knowledge Transfer on Medical Devices) aims to value the knowledge developed by entities of the R&D system on technology-based medical devices through effective technology transfer processes for the industry.

 

DIATOMIC is a three-year project funded by Horizon 2020. It is an initiative of Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE), and brings together research and technological development centers (Fraunhofer IPA, Instituto Pedro Nunes and BioSense), competence centers (INTRASOFT Intl, Libellium and Synelixis), innovation consulting (InoSens), SME community (F6S) and investors (FastTrack).
